We are looking for a proactive, organised, and creative Volunteer Fundraising & Grants Support Assistant to work closely with our Fundraising Manager. This role has a strong focus on funding research, grant applications, and supporting the development and delivery of an annual fundraising plan and events programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a university student or aspiring fundraiser to gain real-world experience in grant writing, fundraising strategy, and event planning, while helping to secure vital funding that enables our charity to support women aged 18+ through free wellbeing and confidence-building programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Grants & Funding
Research and identify relevant grant funding opportunities, trusts, and foundations.
Support the writing and submission of grant applications and funding bids.
Gather and organise supporting information such as impact data, case studies, and programme details.
Maintain a funding pipeline with deadlines, outcomes, and reporting requirements.
Help tailor applications to match funder priorities and criteria.
Fundraising Strategy & Planning
Support the development of an annual fundraising plan aligned with charity goals.
Contribute ideas for fundraising campaigns, appeals, and community initiatives.
Help plan and structure fundraising activities across the year.
Assist in setting fundraising targets and tracking progress.
Events & Campaign Support
Help organise and coordinate fundraising events and activities.
Support event planning, logistics, promotion, and volunteer coordination.
Assist in developing promotional materials for campaigns and events.
Help evaluate event success and suggest improvements for future activities.
General Fundraising Support
Support communication with donors, supporters, and community partners where appropriate.
Assist with administrative tasks related to fundraising and reporting.
Contribute creative ideas to improve engagement and income generation.
