Fundraising Volunteer

At Hammersley Homes, our mission is to provide permanent support for adults who live with enduring mental health challenges and struggle with daily life, to fill a gap in available services for this vulnerable group. We are looking for enthusiastic fundraising volunteers to help us!

Details of the volunteering role:
• In this role you will assist with organising and running fundraising events (crowdfunding campaigns/events)
• You will have the opportunity to share fundraising ideas then put those ideas into action
• As well as assisting with the running of events, we encourage you to share your passion for our charity and promote our work to the public at the event. Fund raising also means knowing and understanding our work and aims and passing that information on to others. Skills and experience required or could be developed in this role:

• Enthusiasm, commitment and ability to work well as team
• Good communication skills
• Confidence in dealing with the public
