Holocaust Memorial Lecture Given by Henry Schachter on his experiences during the Holocaust

Henry and his family fled to Belgium, where his parents gave him to a Christian family for his safety. There, he became one of Belgium’s 3000 ‘Hidden children’ and he owes his survival to the Christian family that took him in. Henry, who is accredited to the Holocaust Education Trust, now lectures at schools and universities around the country about his personal experiences. Henry speaks with great emotion and is able to tailor each talk to a particular year group.

The presentation includes videos, photographs and images which graphically enforce Henry’s spoken word.
