HIV has had a huge impact on the history of the LGBTQ+ community so join the LGBTQ+ and Trans, Non-Binary, Intersex and Gender Identity + Networks and SUBU's Clubs & Societies for a day fundraising for Body Positive Dorset as part of LGBTQ+ History Month! 

As well as raising money for Body Positive Dorset, you will be able to meet the charity on the day and get tested for HIV with Over the Rainbow Dorset.

Alongside this there will be a gender affirming clothing swap operating during the below times:

11am-2pm: Open to LGBTQ+ students for free

2-3pm: open to all students with a donations to Body Positive Dorset (cash and card donations will be possible)

Body Positive Dorset is a registered charity that offers advice, practical support, counselling, life coaching, and information to people living with or affected by HIV regardless of sexual orientation. As well as this they work to raise awareness and promote prevention through education in the community.

This event is taking place on the ground floor of the Student Centre on Talbot Campus and11-12 is a dedicated accessibility hour for this event for students who need it.. You can find out about the accessibility of this building via AccessAble. There will be an accessibility hour from 11-12 for those that need a quieter atmosphere. At the event, photos and videos with be taken. These images will be used by SUBU to share news about our events and publicise them in future. By attending you will grant SUBU the rights to use the resulting images and videos.
