What are intercultural skills?

How can you use them to develop your knowledge required to thrive in diverse workplaces?

Good intercultural communication and an understanding of cultural differences, is now critical for professionals, especially those part of global networks.

This session will help you recognise the skills needed to build stronger relationships and communicate effectively in a globalised market. Join Think PacificGlobal Talent Programme and Global Mobility teams to find out how to interpret cross-cultural expectations and perspectives, adapt to diverse communication styles and appreciate the value of cultural differences.

International volunteer company Think Pacific, in partnership with the Fijian Government, work to empower disadvantaged youth to overcome poverty issues by improving education, sports and  infrastructure development and promoting health.  Intercultural skills are essential when working with local communities in Fiji to develop trust, respect and mutual understanding for this ethical organisation dedicated to improving the lives of 1000’s of Fijian children, 75% of whom live in poverty in rural Fiji.
