🔦 The Sussex Smugglers' Trail: Seven Sisters Hike!🔦
Listen closely fellow smugglers! Here are the secret orders for our upcoming Seven Sisters hiking expedition. Please note that no one can drive to this event since our escape route is not a loop. The getaway coach will drop us at the start and spirit us away from the finish line! 🏴☠️
📅 When: Saturday 2nd May
⏰ Gathering Time: 07:40, Bournemouth station
🥾 The Smugglers' Hike
- Start: Seaford at 10:30.
- The Path: 14km walking along the secret coastal trail to Eastbourne passing through the Seven Sisters Country Park and navigating those famous rolling hills.
- Duration: 5 to 6 hours of hiking with breaks (we will stop to eat our rations about halfway).
- Vital Prep: There are very few places to restock provisions once we are walking on the cliffs. Please bring a hearty packed lunch, plenty of contraband snacks and water! This coastal hike has some steep elevation so make sure to wear sturdy walking boots and clothes suitable for the weather on the day to evade the revenue men. 🎒🧥
🏁 The Safe Haven
- Arrival: Reaching Eastbourne between 15:30 and 16:30.
- ree Time: We will have an hour to grab some local grub and lay low from 17:00 to 18:00. 🍻🐟
- Getaway Coach: Meeting our transport at 18:00 at Eastbourne Wish Tower Car Park.
- Return: Slipping back into Bournemouth under the cover of night between 21:00
