The Cherries thought they had opened the scoring with their first chance of the game as Antoine Semenyo capitalised on a rebound but both him and Evanilson were caught offside after a VAR check.
The fast start continued for Bournemouth as Kluivert was bundled over in the box by Reece James however the assistant's flag was raised again for offside.
However, the visitors began growing back into the game creating some dangerous moves with Cole Palmer at the heart of them.

On the half hour mark, Chelsea striker, Liam Delap seemed to dislocate his shoulder in a battle with Marcos Senesi defending a corner and was replaced by Marc Guiu.
Evanilson missed a massive chance late in the first half as a Semenyo shot deflected off the hand of Sanchez and fell to the Brazilian at the back post but his
effort blazed wide.
Two big chances came in added time of the first half as both Alex Scott and Semenyo both had close range shots saved.
The second half started in the same fashion as the first as Tavernier shot just inside the box and it dragged wide.
Pedro Neto responded to the Bournemouth pressure with a low driven shot that Petrovic got down well for.
More injury issues for the Cherries as Marcos Senesi went off injured in the 62 nd minute and was replaced by James Hill.
Semenyo had yet another chance to score but his shot from the left hand side was palmed behind for a corner kick.
With both teams having multiple chances to win it neither could break the deadlock and the points were shared.
