Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth return to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon when they host 17th place Wolves.

The Cherries are coming off the back of a resounding 3-1 win away at local rivals Southampton. An impressive performance from Ryan Christie and a Marcus Tavernier goal helped grab three points.

As for Wolves, they travel on the road once again after having been beaten 2-1 at Anfield by league leaders Liverpool.

When these two met at Molineux, it was a historic day for Justin Kluivert as he scored a hat-trick of penalties in a 4-2 Cherries win.

Since then, Wolves have gone under new management. Andoni Iraola knows Saturday will be tough for his side: “Tomorrow I expect a difficult game.

“The last eight games they’ve played; they have always been competitive.

“They have been very solid defensively and offensively we know the players they have.”

One of those players is their star man Matheus Cunha, who has scored 12 goals already this season.

Andoni Iraola admires the Brazilian. Iraola said: “He has always been very good.

“We will try to limit him defensively; we’re in a good moment defensively and I hope we can deal with him.”

Marcus Tavernier and Luis Sinisterra will again be available for selection, after making it out of Southampton unscathed.

The Cherries’ January signing Julio Soler will be back available for Andoni Iraola after returning from international duty with the Argentina u’20s.

With the possibility of Manchester city dropping points to Liverpool on Sunday, a win for the Cherries could see them into 4th.

Despite this, the Bournemouth Boss isn’t too fussed on where his side are currently in the table.

“For me we are on 43 points. We can add one or three tomorrow.

“The position? It’s good to be there but we need many more points if we want to fight for something at the end of the season.”

A win for the Cherries would make it their first Premier League double over Wolves since they first met back in 2017.
