Andoni Iraola’s AFC Bournemouth travel to the capital today as they visit in-form Crystal Palace.

The Cherries are coming off the back of their 3-1 win against Fulham which saw Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert lead the comeback and secure all three points.

As for Crystal Palace, their loss to Everton last time out was their first defeat after 19 unbeaten matches, which coincidentally started with this fixture last season.

The last two fixtures between Palace and the Cherries ended 0-0 and Iraola is yet to lose to the Eagles so far.

Iraola said: “They were not the most enjoyable games (to watch back), but they were difficult games for both teams.

“I think it is very clear how both teams play. I don’t think we will surprise each other.”

Oliver Glasner’s side are the only Premier League team yet to concede a first half goal this season, Iraola was asked whether he thinks the Cherries could be the team to break that.

He said: “I hope we are, it’s something we’ve been talking about. They have been so good that they haven’t had the need to come back from bad results.

“I think it’s massive. If we could score first, I don’t care if it’s the second half even better because it means there’s less time remaining.”

The Bournemouth boss confirmed that David Brooks will miss the match as he picked up a hamstring injury in Wales’ game against Belgium however it is not a big injury.

He added that Adam Smith may be able to help the squad as he is back in training as he returns from his hamstring injury he picked up against Tottenham.

The match kicks off at 3pm this afternoon at Selhurst Park.
