Christchurch got a point against Baffin Milton Rovers in an entertaining back and forth game which could have gone either way but the spoils where shared in a 0-0 at Hurn Bridge.

Baffin Milton started the better of the two sides and went close in the first minute when a clever pass found Craig McAllister whose looping effort went over the bar.

Chances were few and far between for Christchurch in the first half but they had a great chance on the counter attack in a four vs three situation but the effort went high and wide.

Midway through the second half Baffin Milton had a great chance to go in front from a corner to the near post but the Jason Parish's diving header hit the outside of the post.

Christchurch were looking dangerous on the break, with Baffin Milton on the front foot for the majority of the game. The home side had a great chance to win it when Louis McCartin got free but his shot was blocked by a recovering Baffin Milton defender.

The best chance of the game came right at the end for Baffin Milton when the ball fell to Harry Sargeant but the Baffin man blazed his effort it over the bar from point blank range.

This was a great result for Christchurch who are beginning to find their way up the league table and are sitting in 18th - six points clear of Bournemouth FC and the relegation zone. Title chasing Baffins Milton Rovers stay in 2nd, two points behind league leaders Horndean.

Christchurch will be looking for another good result in midweek against midtable Alton at Hurn Bridge.
