Gary O’Neil has confirmed that Jordan Zemura will continue to train with the Under-21 squad until his deal expires in June.

The Zimbabwe international recently confirmed that he’s signed a pre-contract agreement with Italian side Udinese, leaving the Cherries on a free deal in the summer.

Zemura last featured in Bournemouth’s 3-2 loss to Arsenal in March, and hasn’t been seen since due to his contract situation with the club.

O’Neil said: “We’ve decided that it’s best at this moment for Jordan to train with the under-21s and that’ll remain until it doesn’t anymore”.

“I don’t feel any way about it, I think as a footballer you have decisions to make and you make them and do what you think is best for yourself. My responsibility is to do what I think’s best for the team and the group and the club”.

Another player that will remain out of the Bournemouth squad for tomorrow’s trip to Tottenham is Hamed Traore, who was last seen in the Cherries’ 2-0 loss to Brighton at the start of the month but is still out with a foot injury.

“He took a blow to the foot in training and as soon as the pain eases up enough he’ll be available”.

“Hopefully he progresses quickly and we can get him back in the matchday squad for the games coming up”.

However good news for Bournemouth fans is that Marcos Senesi could return to the squad after missing last week’s win at Leicester.

O’Neil said: “Marcos Senesi has done a little bit of work this week so hope to have him back in the matchday squad.”

Bournemouth will be looking for their first consecutive wins in the league this season as they travel to a Tottenham side struggling for form and without a manager after the sacking of Antonio Conte two weeks ago. However Christian Stellini will be on the touchline for tomorrow’s game, despite getting sent off in their match last week against Brighton.
