Andoni Iraola speaks to the media ahead of the match against Fulham.

Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth return to Vitality Stadium this evening as they host Fulham under the lights.

Bournemouth are coming off of a 2-2 draw with Leeds last weekend which saw Junior Kroupi score a last gasp equaliser for Iraola’s side.

As for Fulham, they are on the road for the second week in a row after losing 3-1 away to Aston Villa last weekend.

Antoine Semenyo’s goal in the first minute led Bournemouth to a 1-0 win in this fixture last season however both teams have seen change in their squad’s since then.

Marcos Senesi has played every minute of Bournemouth’s Premier League campaign so far, chipping in with two assists on top of three clean sheets.

Iraola said: “I think Marcos has been important because in a defence with obviously a lot of changes from last season, he has been the one who has had to lead the newcomers a little bit.

“He also speaks English very well and Spanish with Julio (Soler) and Alex Jimenez. He's able to kind of communicate with everyone and he's a very smart player. I hope we can keep him there and playing like this.”

The Cherries have only lost to Fulham once in their last eight meetings which will be a record Andoni Iraola will be wanting to continue.

The Bournemouth boss said yesterday that he was hoping to have Lewis Cook back in the squad this evening as he has been training this week as he returns from his shoulder injury.

Fulham will be without Rodrigo Muniz and Kenny Tete as they both missed Fulham’s match against Aston Villa last week.

A win would see the Cherries jump to second in the league table before the weekend games take place.

The match kicks off at 8pm this evening at Vitality Stadium and will be live on Sky Sports as part of Friday Night Football.
