AFC Bournemouth head coach Scott Parker has provided the latest injury news ahead of the away league fixture to Barnsley.

Last week’s defeat to Hull saw Chris Mepham forced off the pitch in the first half. It is understood he will be out of action for up to 14 days as recovers from a hamstring injury.

In Covid-19 news, Jamal Lowe is the only case amongst the squad and will not be available for selection. Jefferson Lerma returned to training for the first time today following his recent positive result, and a call will be made by Parker closer to the time.

Both the club and fans will be happy to hear Jordan Zemura has completed his first full week of training upon his return from AFCON since returning from injury. He will be available for selection.

Despite concerns over Gary Cahill’s fitness following the match versus Hull, Parker confirmed that centre back has no issues and will be available for selection. He did pick up a ‘knock’ during the game, but no concerns and can expect to be starting alongside Lloyd Kelly.
