Tolpuddle Martyrs' Festival Volunteers - 19 - 21 July 2024

This opportunity takes place between 27 Mar 2024 and 21 Jul 2024 Closing date for applications is 30 Apr.

If you are staying out for summer in Dorset, and want to volunteer in the heart of the county and have great fun at an outdoor festival at the same time, this could be for you. Volunteers required to help with car parking, helping campers, festival gates, litter picking/recycling, Marquee, stalls and fringe tents, general help, stewarding the procession and wreath-laying, moving tables and equipment, bucket collections etc.

There has been an annual gathering to mark the story of the Tolpuddle Martyrs since the 1930's.  Thousands of people from all over the country descend on the small village of Tolpuddle in Dorset to celebrate the memory of the Tolpuddle Martyrs' and the legacy they left behind.  Click here to find out more about the Tolpuddle Martyrs' story, history and museum and the origins of Trade Unionism in the UK.
