Principal Academic and Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Business Studies at Bournemouth University & Senior Fellow, HEA,
A passionate, student-focused innovator, Mark is Principal Academic in People and Organisations within the Business School, Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Business Studies, and a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy. Mark is also a Study Abroad Academic Coordinator within the Business School at BU.
Mark previously lived and worked in France, Germany and Italy, and has travelled extensively, representing BU, throughout China, Thailand Vietnam and Indonesia. Mark is a thought leader in Cross-Cultural Communication and Management at BU, and has been recognised for his innovative work in internationalising the curriculum.In this session, Mark will broaden and deepen our intercultural awareness by introducing us to current thinking on what it means to have a global mindset.

A former Sports & Leisure Marketing (BA Hons) graduate from Bournemouth University in 2002, Tom is now a Senior Director of Sports Communications at Red Bull Media House, based in Los Angeles. Red Bull Media House is a globally distributed multi-platform media company on a mission to inspire with ‘beyond the ordinary’ stories, and Tom helps them do this in the sports world.
Prior to Red Bull, he was Global Head of Brand Communications and Creative at Oakley, where he created award-winning global brand campaigns for their key markets worldwide, including North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
