Stonehenge, Sailsbury & New Forest
Sat 09 November 2019 08:40-19:00
Our first stop is Stonehenge where you have two hours to visit Britain’s most visited ancient monument and the excellent new Visitor Centre. You will be able to learn about 5000 year old Neolithic England, see many displays and artifacts and gain a greater understanding of how and why Stonehenge was built.
For the afternoon we travel to Bath, a city so beautiful and special that it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site. On arrival your guide will take you on a 1.5 hour walking tour, where you will take in the superb Roman remains, glorious Georgian architecture and spring water spas. The rest of the afternoon you have to visit the Roman Baths or Fashion Museum (ticket price not included). Alternatively the shopping in Bath is excellent with small unique shops selling quirky bespoke gifts!
