The Clubs Funding page is designed to offer a transparent look into the clubs and societies funding allocations, as well as all of the key minuted decisions made by the team, and any new club/society applications. These meetings are held by the Clubs and Societies Awarding Committee consisting of The VP Student Opportunities, at least one Student Opportunties staff member, one Student Engagement staff member and at least one member of the Executive Committee where possible.
SUBU clubs and societies are expected to be financially self-sustaining with income generated through membership, ticketed events, sponsorship and fundraising; grant funding should not be relied upon to support your club or societies’ regular activities. Funding is allocated on a case by case basis and we encourage all clubs and societies to apply for funding where they feel appropriate.
