Quidditch Club

Why Join Us?

1) Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender or how good or bad you are at sport

2) Some of us have found our best friends in the Banshees!

3) It's just so much fun. When else are you going to get a chance to play a sport like this?

What do we do?

Bournemouth's first quidditch team, the Bournemouth Banshees, trains every week (during term time) at 2pm on Wednesdays and Sundays, and competes with other teams around the UK, including recently at the British Quidditch Cup in Oxford.

Quidditch is the fastest-growing full-contact mixed-gender sport in the World, with the 2018 World Cup featuring over 20 countries from 5 continents!

Come along to one of our sessions and give it a go!

Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Key Events

Our first event will be a taster session for anyone who fancies trying quidditch. Then there'll be two training sessions a week to get us ready for monthly games with other teams in the south-west, Southern Cup in January and (hopefully) the British Quidditch Cup in the spring, with plenty of socials along the way. Activities Awards and our own Society Awards Night.
