The Community Warden Scheme is a scheme run by SUBU, BU, AUB and supported by Bournemouth Borough Council. The Wardens are a team of students who are paid to work each week, patrolling the main student roads in Winton, Wallisdown and Charminster. They are there to support both students and permanent local residents, and to help them integrate together in the local community.

  • Housing issues
  • Getting involved in your community
  • Burglaries
  • Bins
  • Noise
  • Parking

 

They currently patrol the following roads:-

Zone 1 -

Alma, Edgehill, Frederica, Hawthorn, Heathwood, Iris, Jameson, Kemp, Leslie, Library, Maple, Melville, Osborne, Privet, Sedgley, Stanfield, Talbot, Withermoor, Woodend.

Zone 2 -

Bingham, Cardigan, Fitzharris, Hankinson, Heron Court, Latimer, Leamington, Linwood,Maxwell, Parker, Trafalgar, Truscott, Waterloo, Wycliffe.

Zone 3 -

Abbott, Acland, Bemister, Bishop, Brownen, Calvin, Cranmer, Crichel, Frampton, Green, Luther, Markham, Murley, Ridley, Ripon, Rutland, Somerley.

Zone 4 -

Brassey, Castle, Clive, Denmakr, Denmore, Gresham, Kilmarnock, Midland, Muscliffe, Pine, Portland, Ripon, Shirley, Southill, Strouden.
